Acrobat Capture enables you to create searchable Web or intranet libraries by converting scanned paper documents to cross-platform Portable Document Format (PDF) files. PDF files look just like the originals, and users with free Acrobat Reader software can quickly view, navigate, and print them directly from their Web browsers. Automatically create intra-document links and efficiently correct OCR text suspects with QuickFix. Acrobat Capture 3.0 provides a host of tools for document, font, and page control including the new Zone tool, which enables areas of scanned pages to be defined as images, text, or even keywords. The Personal Edition of Acrobat Reader is the perfect production tool for transforming paper-based information into high-quality electronic documents.

  • Create reusable document-processing workflows tailored to different types of conversion projects. Assemble customised workflows for forms, magazine articles, reference manuals, and other common documents with drag and drop simplicity.
  • This new and improved tool for correcting OCR suspects sorts by word, reason, or confidence level to work quickly and effectively with each document.
  • Easily update the user-defined dictionary to reduce the number of OCR suspects.
  • Most popular desktop and high-volume scanners are supported through ISIS and TWAIN drivers, including more than 150 ISIS scanner configurations.
  • LZW and CCITT group 4 compression are supported directly from scanners, enabling faster throughput.
